Structural Optimization of Locally Continuous Fiber-Reinforcements for Short Fiber-Reinforced Plastics

چکیده

The integration of continuous fiber-reinforced structures into short or long plastics allows a significant increase in stiffness and strength. In order to make the best possible use high strength fiber-reinforcements, they must be placed direction load most stressed areas. A frequently used tool for identifying heavily loaded areas is topology optimization. Commercial optimization programs usually do not take account material properties associated with hybrid structures. anisotropy reinforcing base surrounding reinforcement are considered during optimization, but only subsequent steps. Therefore this publication, existing methods anisotropic materials combined new approach, which takes both fiber-reinforcement material. results example calculations show an increased at same input also simplification resulting structures, more economical manufacturing.
